Built for AU pest control

Come January, that customer books whoever picks up first.

Termite season starts in weeks and it doesn't let up until February. Missed Money HQ answers every call you can't, texts the ones who hang up, and books them in before your competitor has checked voicemail. In pest control a missed call isn't one job. It's a customer who would have booked every year.

Let it ring your phone right now

Put your mobile in. The agent calls you in about 20 seconds and books a job exactly like it would for a customer who found you on Google. No sales rep, no obligation.

One call, placed because you asked for it. We keep your number to send you the recording and nothing else. Standard rates apply from your carrier.

The leak nobody puts a number on

Most operators guess they miss "a few" calls a week. Then they count. In season it's closer to fifteen, and about a third of those never ring back.

12calls missed in a week during season
4that never call you back
$4,800a month at $280 a treatment

That's the conservative read, and it undercounts badly. General pest is a yearly job, so the customer you missed in October was worth $250 a year for as long as they stayed. And one of those calls was someone who thought they saw termites. That's a $350 inspection that turns into a barrier somewhere between two and five and a half thousand.

Prices are current Australian ranges, not a guarantee, and the call volumes are an example. The agent will run your actual numbers with you on the demo.

What actually happens

No app for you to learn. It sits on the number you already give out.

1

The call comes in and you're suited up

You're under a house, in a roof cavity, mid-treatment, driving between jobs, or it's 8pm. The call diverts instead of dying in voicemail.

2

The agent picks up and sounds human

It asks what they've seen, where, how long it's been going on, and whether there are pets or kids in the house. If they hung up before it answered, they get a text within seconds instead.

3

You get a booked job, not a voicemail

Details, address and preferred time land in your phone and your calendar. Anything that sounds like active termites gets flagged so you can ring them yourself.

Fair questions

Will my customers know it's a robot?

Some will, some won't. That's not really the point. The alternative they're comparing it to is a voicemail beep, and nobody prefers the beep. The agent says it's an assistant if they ask directly, because you're about to send a stranger into their house with chemicals and that relationship doesn't survive starting on a lie.

Will it give people advice about chemicals or safety?

No, and that's deliberate. It's built to refuse every question about what's being sprayed, whether it's safe around pets, kids or pregnancy, and what the withholding period is. Those answers belong to a licensed technician standing in the house, not a phone agent. It takes the details, notes that pets or children are present so you know before you arrive, and tells them you'll go through the safety side on site.

What if someone rings thinking they've got termites?

It won't tell them what they've got. Flying ants and termite alates look near enough identical to a panicking homeowner, and a wrong guess either terrifies someone for no reason or talks them out of an inspection they needed. It books the inspection and texts you straight away, because that call is the most valuable one you'll get all week.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. We set up a divert on the number already on your ute and your Google listing. Your number stays your number.

I'm flat out already. Why would I want this?

If you're flat out in August, fair enough, and I'd rather say so than sell you something. But that's the trap with this industry. The phone is manageable now and unmanageable by December, and nobody sets this up in December because they're too busy. If you're going to do it, the quiet months are when it's actually possible.

How long until it's running?

Usually two days. Most of that is you telling us your pricing, your service area, and what you want treated as urgent versus what can wait until Monday.
